I met Pornpen in Bangkok. She is a passionate human rights advocate who was subjected to harrassment and legal action by the military for her courage and determination in exposing torture cases in the Deep South. This comic is not only about Pornpen, but how through her story, I learned more about the adversity and reprisals faced by human rights defenders in Thailand. This comic was published in “Article 2”, 2016, a regional law journal issued by the Asian Legal Resource Centre.
