In July 2019, the National Human Rights Commission and E.U launched "Cartoonists against Torture", a national/regional initiative to raise awareness on the United Nations Convention against Torture, Cruel, Inhuman and Degrading Treatment (UNCAT) through cartoons and comics. I drew a comics story called "Rotan" or whipping, an infocomic to invite public to discuss the practice of whipping children, especially within the Malaysian context.
